Why Accountability Matters

For decades, the people and institutions fueling gun violence have escaped responsibility. Politicians block lifesaving policies while taking gun lobby money. Corporations manufacture and market weapons with no regard for the consequences. Industry trade groups like the NRA and NSSF spread fear and misinformation to protect their profits. Meanwhile, over 120 Americans are shot and killed every day.

Accountability has been the missing piece of the fight to end gun violence — and we are here to make sure those responsible can no longer hide.

How We Create Pressure

Young people refuse to let those responsible for gun violence hide in the shadows. Through bold, creative, and unapologetic campaigns, we expose the politicians, corporations, and industries that fuel this crisis and profit from our pain.

Sometimes that looks like billboards outside corporate offices. Other times it’s petitions that spread like wildfire, mass walkouts, rallies, or viral moments that force the nation to pay attention. Every campaign is different, but the goal is always the same: to prove that those who enable gun violence will be held accountable.
