Young people have always been at the heart of March For Our Lives. We believe those closest to gun violence should have the opportunity to shape the solutions.
We invest in emerging leaders, particularly those impacted by gun violence, providing the mentorship, resources, and platforms to turn their ideas into action.
We develop young leaders. Through mentorship and hands-on experience, we help young people build the skills and confidence to lead.
We elevate youth voices. We create opportunities for young people to share their stories and shape national conversations.
We support youth-led solutions. We provide the guidance and resources young people need to bring their own ideas to life and create change in their communities.
March Forward: Our National Youth Leadership Fellowship
March Forward is March For Our Lives’ paid youth leadership fellowship, designed for young people ages 18–24 who have been impacted by gun violence and want to make a difference in their communities.
Over the course of the program, fellows receive personalized mentorship, leadership development opportunities, and support to design and implement projects addressing issues they care about.
Through March Forward, fellows have the opportunity to:
- Develop their leadership, advocacy, and storytelling skills.
- Receive one-on-one coaching and mentorship.
- Connect with a national network of young leaders.
- Design and lead a project rooted in their community.
- Share their work and experiences with a broader audience.
