One Year After the Buffalo Shooting 

New York, NY — “Today marks one year since the Buffalo shooting and one year of fighting on in their memory. We must never forget what the shooting was: an act of white supremacy enabled by America’s weak gun laws and a culture steeped in racism. In the year since, we’ve seen far too much gun violence fueled by white supremacy. We’ve made progress, but our leaders are still failing us. More is to be done. We will continue to fight on in the memory of those we lost in Buffalo. May all those who lost their lives rest in power.”
