March For Our Lives is the only national gun violence prevention organization dedicated to mobilizing young people to lead the fight for a safer future. Born out of the tragedy of the Parkland shooting in 2018, we have grown into a nationwide movement building youth power, shifting culture, and holding the systems that enable harm accountable.
We train and support young leaders across the country, run national campaigns that demand change, and use art, protest, and storytelling to shift public consciousness. Our work is grounded in the belief that those closest to the pain should lead the fight for solutions, and that young people are not just the future — we are the present.

March For Our Lives works to educate, engage, and mobilize young people into sustained action that challenges the systems enabling gun violence and creates the conditions for the cultural and policy change needed to make our communities safe.
We envision a future where young people inherit a nation free from gun violence, where the systems that profit from and perpetuate it are dismantled, and where safety is valued above gun industry profit.
After the 2018 shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, survivors turned grief into action, organizing one of the largest youth-led protests in American history. What began as a moment of protest has grown into a lasting movement for safety, justice, and youth power in every community.
Since 2018, March For Our Lives has mobilized millions, passed hundreds of gun safety laws, shifted the national conversation, and helped elect leaders who prioritize public safety. From historic marches to groundbreaking campaigns, our movement is proving that when young people lead, change follows.
Our 2026–2030 strategic plan will outline how we will build youth power, run culture-shifting campaigns, and confront the systems that enable gun violence. This roadmap for action, growth, and impact is coming soon.
