Donation FAQs

Thanks so much for your interest in getting involved with March For Our Lives (MFOL)! We’d love to have you join our youth-led movement to end gun violence.

The best way to plug in is by joining our Action Hub, where you’ll get access to tools, trainings, and updates on how to take action. Sign up today and you’ll immediately be part of our national network of young people building power to end gun violence.

1. Visit our self-service portal: marchforourlives.org/donorportal. 
   
2. On the portal website, please provide the email address you previously used with us to make your donation.
   
3. You will receive an email that prompts you to “Click here to access your account.” Please click this link to be brought to the portal. This may take a few moments. If you have not received an email, please check your junk or promotions folder. If you cannot remember the email address you used to make your donation, please contact us at [email protected] or at (908) 368-1227, and we will assist you.
   
4. Once signed into the portal, click “Manage Contributions.”
   
5. In the upper right-hand corner of the “Recurring gifts” section click the pencil icon. Once selected, click on “Cancel gift” in the bottom left corner of the box. You will be prompted that your gift will be canceled immediately. Please be sure to confirm your cancellation by clicking “Cancel gift” once more.
   
   Once you click save, your recurring gift will be canceled, and you will receive an automated email confirming this. If you don’t receive an email or have any questions about this, please contact us at  [email protected] or at (908) 368-1227.

5. Scroll to the recurring gift you would like to adjust and click “Edit.” Under the dollar amount of your recurring gift, please input the amount you wish to give.

4. Once signed into the portal, click “Manage Contributions.” Under the contributions section, click manage your contributions.
   
5. Click the pencil icon in the upper right-hand corner of the “Recurring gifts” section. Once selected, you can click “Cancel gift” in the bottom left corner of the box. You will be prompted that your gift will be canceled immediately. Please confirm your cancellation by clicking “Cancel gift” once more. Once you click save, your recurring gift will be canceled, and you will receive an automated email confirming this. March For Our Lives operates through two organizations that work hand in hand:

March For Our Lives Foundation (501(c)(3))
Donations to the Foundation are tax deductible. These gifts support our educational programs, cultural initiatives, and youth leadership development. They fuel the work of amplifying survivor stories, creating art and memorials, and training the next generation of changemakers. By law, funds given to the Foundation cannot be used for electoral activity.

March For Our Lives Action Fund (501(c)(4))
Donations made online support the Action Fund, our registered 501(c)(4) social welfare organization. Contributions here are not tax deductible, but they are critical to the fight as they allow us to lobby for stronger gun violence prevention policies.
Together, both arms of our organization fuel one movement with a single goal: ending gun violence and building a safer future.

March For Our Lives operates through two organizations:

• March For Our Lives Foundation (501(c)(3)) — Donations to the Foundation are tax deductible. These gifts support our educational work, cultural initiatives, and youth leadership programs.
• March For Our Lives Action Fund (501(c)(4)) — Donations to the Action Fund are not tax deductible, but they allow us to lobby for stronger gun laws.

When you give online, you can choose to support either the Foundation (C3) or the Action Fund (C4). Both are critical to fueling our movement, and together they power one mission: ending gun violence.

If you have donated to MFOL:

1. Visit  marchforourlives.org/donorportal. 
   
2. Enter the email you used to make a donation/subscribe to our emails.
   
3. Check your email to receive your one-time login link. This may take a few moments. If you have not received an email, please check your junk or promotions folder. If you cannot remember the email address you used to make your donation, please contact us at [email protected] or (908) 368-1227, and we will assist you.
   
4. Under the Contact Info section, click the pencil icon in the upper right-hand corner of the emails or phone box to edit the information.
   
5. You can change or add emails and your phone number.

If you have not donated to MFOL before:

1. Locate any email you have received from MFOL by searching for “March for Our Lives” in your inbox.
   
2. Click “unsubscribe” at the bottom of the email. 
   
3. Check the box next to “Please unsubscribe” and click “Update.”

If you have donated to MFOL before, follow the above steps or:

1. Visit  marchforourlives.org/donorportal. 
   
2. Enter the email you used to make a donation or subscribe to our emails.

5. Uncheck the box next to “Yes, receive email updates.” Click save.
