Confront Apathy
We confront apathy by forcing the nation to see what it’s tried to ignore.
We make gun violence impossible to ignore.
Gun violence is often reduced to statistics, headlines, and political debate. That distance allows the crisis to continue without urgency. We exist to close that gap.
March For Our Lives works with survivors, families, and young people directly impacted by gun violence to tell stories that are clear, personal, and widely seen. Our goal is to shift what people pay attention to and what they feel responsible for.
What We Actually Do.
We produce high-reach storytelling.
We create short films, direct-to-camera videos, and digital campaigns that center the voices of people most impacted by gun violence, designed to reach millions across the platforms young people already use.
We distribute at scale.
We use our platforms, creator partnerships, and media relationships to push this content beyond traditional advocacy audiences and into mainstream cultural conversation.
We partner with culture.
We collaborate with filmmakers, artists, and media projects to extend the reach of storytelling and bring these narratives into new spaces.
We connect stories to action.
Every piece of content is paired with a clear next step, giving people ways to engage, share, and take action.
What This Builds.
When people see and understand the human cost of gun violence, the cost of ignoring it rises.
Our work shifts attention, rebuilds empathy, and creates the urgency that drives cultural and political change. Each story is not just a moment of awareness, but an entry point into deeper engagement and sustained action.

Featured PROJECTS:
Film Partnerships
We partner with filmmakers and cultural projects to extend the reach of storytelling beyond its original audience. As an advocacy partner for the Oscar-winning documentary short All the Empty Rooms, we amplified the film and its accompanying photo campaign across our platforms, publishing content that brought its message to millions and turned a cultural moment into a broader tool for awareness and action.

Direct-to-Camera Storytelling
We run an ongoing series of direct-to-camera videos on our social media platforms featuring survivors and young people impacted by gun violence. These videos give people the space to speak in their own words and are designed for wide distribution across social platforms, reaching millions and ensuring these voices are seen and heard.

THE LIVING RECORD
The Living Record is a space for people to share and remember loved ones lost to gun violence in their own words. It allows families and communities to tell the stories behind the headlines, preserving the lives and legacies that are too often reduced to statistics.
We also work to ensure these stories reach a broader audience. When individuals share about their loved ones, our team may reach out to feature their stories across our platforms, helping bring their voices to millions and ensuring they are seen, heard, and remembered.

30 Under 30
Each year, the country celebrates “30 Under 30” lists that recognize success, wealth, and influence. March For Our Lives worked with Change the Ref to reimagine that tradition to honor something far more profound: the young lives lost to gun violence before they ever had the chance to grow up.
The 30 Under 30 digital magazine shines a light on 30 stories of young people who should still be here — students, artists, siblings, and friends — each life a testament to what our country has lost and what we must fight to protect.
