We need you in the movement — join us, take your first step, and help turn outrage into change.
The next generation is ready to lead, and we’re here to back them.
The voices that have always driven this movement are the ones who’ve lived it: survivors, students, and young people who refuse to accept a future defined by fear. March For Our Lives was founded on that truth, and our work today is about ensuring that the next generation has the tools, mentorship, and platform to carry it forward.
We cultivate youth leadership not just to sustain the movement, but to expand it — turning pain into purpose and experience into influence.

We don’t speak for young people, we build pathways for them to lead. Our leadership development programs invest deeply in the courage, skill, and vision of the next generation of changemakers.
We identify and elevate emerging leaders.
Across the country, we’re connecting with young people impacted by gun violence — students, organizers, and survivors — and helping them step into visible leadership roles within their communities and the national movement.
We train and equip them to lead.
Through media and storytelling workshops, advocacy training, and one-on-one mentorship, we give young people the confidence and skills to share their stories with authenticity and power — whether in front of a camera, at a rally, or in the halls of Congress.
We amplify their voices.
Our communications and partnerships teams work hand-in-hand with youth leaders to secure national media opportunities, speaking engagements, and creative collaborations that put their perspectives at the center of the gun violence prevention movement.
Launching in 2026, March Forward is our forthcoming youth leadership program, a yearlong fellowship that invests in a cohort of impacted youth, equipping them with training, stipends, and national platforms to shape the future of gun violence prevention.
Through March Forward, we’re building a visible pipeline of young leaders who will define the next era of this movement, from advocates and artists to organizers with the moral authority to speak truth to power and the skills to lead for years to come.

Movements last when leadership evolves.
In 2018, a handful of high school students helped awaken a nation. Today, thousands of young people are carrying that legacy forward, transforming lived experience into leadership, grief into governance, and heartbreak into hope.
By cultivating youth leaders, we ensure that March For Our Lives grows stronger with every generation, turning urgency into enduring power.
