2.14.18 Parkland, FL
Seven years ago today, 17 lives were taken from us, 17 others were injured, and countless more lives were forever changed in a horrific shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. Not long after that day, two others lost their lives because of the tremendous trauma of the shooting. We know the pain of that day never goes away.
In their memory we fight on, each and every day. We honor their lives by working towards a world where no one has to loose their life, their loved ones, or have to live in the terrible shadow of gun violence.
The Parkland and Coral Springs community continues to feel the reverberations of that terrible day. We wish continued healing and hope today, and everyday. So many people in our movement and across the country know the searing pain of losing a loved one to this crisis. We fight on in their honor.
Onwards.
